Well, I've moved most of my funds out of PokerRoom
. I was under the impression that they were going to continue to welcome US players to their site, as had been announced a few weeks ago. However, I went on their site today and checked their TOS and found a sentence explicitly stating that US players were not allowed to play. So, I have no idea what that means. I've left about $25 in there, and I'll probably keep playing there until I hear something definitive one way or the other. I'd probably give it up completely, but they're the only site with a Java app that allows you to play in a web browser, which is invaluable when I'm playing on the laptop on the weekends, since I don't have the ability to install other poker clients onto the computer. But I'd say outside of that, I probably won't play on there too much.
When my Neteller transfer completes, I'll probably move the funds to PokerStars
, or maybe split it and put some at Stars and some at Full Tilt
. I've never played at FTP before, but I created an account today, so we'll see. It's too bad, as I've had a mostly positive experience at PR, but what can you do? I want to keep playing poker, which means I need to play at places that will accept my money.
