By far, the worst part of the year is during the MLB All-Star break. Summer is bad enough, considering once June hits, there is absolutely no other sport besides baseball to watch. Which is not a knock on baseball, I enjoy watching it, but day after day, baseball just doesn't have that kind of staying power. I need some variety. So anyways, we get to the All-Star break, and then, there isn't even any baseball to watch! The Wednesday and Thursday following the All-Star game officially become the closest thing to an off season that the world of sports has.
Fortunately, the pain is all over tomorrow when the Cubs face the Mets. Then I can go back to the normal pain that is watching the Chicago Cubs attempt to play baseball.
