Personal :: Busy busy busy
  submitted on October 27, 2004, 9:09 AM

Hey guys, I've been meaning to update this for a while now, but my schedule has been absolutely ridiculous lately.

I've finished my internship at the Goodman. Actually, I finished a couple of weeks ago. I have since begun working for a small theatre company called Visions & Voices. They are putting on a play called Arrangement for Two Violas, an original piece by Susan Lieberman. This will be the premiere of the piece, which opens on November 6th. Feel free to click the link on the right and check out their website.

I've also started working at Northwestern University in the Undergraduate Admissions office. It's the busy season for admissions offices, as application due dates are approaching. So I'm bascially helping process applications, making sure everything is in everyone's folders, stuff like that. When I don't have applications to work on, I process student prospect forms. Boy, is that fun. I got the job because the assistant director I worked with at the Goodman works there too, and said they needed people to help. So, the job should last through the winter, and I'll probably be looking for another job come spring time.

I also have another stage management job that starts up in a couple of weeks. It's with a company called The Reverie Theatre, and their show is called The Game of Love and Chance. I start rehearsal with them when my other show opens, which basically means I'm going to be very, very busy. But hey, what else is new. They too, have a website you can check out (although it's not currently updated), by clicking the link on the right.

So that's where I am in the land of work. I have jobs lined up through February, and we'll see where we are come then. Melissa and I just got back from Homecoming at TCU last weekend, which I'll have in another update, hopefully. I still have my pigeon update to do as well.

That's it for now,
