Thanks for coming Baylor, now go crawl back under that ugly rock known as Waco that you came from. New year, same result.
For whatever reason, I knew of a number of Baylor fans who were so sure that they'd be able to compete with TCU this year. Despite the fact that we won 17-7 last year on the road, and that they lost a ton of seniors, while most of our defense was returning, and that we've lost I think 5 home games in the past 6 years, they thought they had a chance.
Well, 4 quarters later, it was 27-0, and Baylor was able to get into the red zone only twice, missing field goals on both occasions. We know it irritates everyone at Baylor when TCU fans make claims that we should be in the Big XII instead of them, since our football team actually strives to better itself instead of sitting around as a perennial doormat just to collect a BCS paycheck every year. But hey, if you want to prove us wrong, your team actually needs to show up for games like this. Until then, Baylor is just a sad, sad team, and while I appreciate the rivalry aspect of playing them, it sucks that they're probably just going to spend the rest of the season hurting our strength of schedule.
